Daddy and Dana Day at Water Country USA-- August 27th

On August 27th, Dana and Chase spent the day at Water Country USA, while I had a really fun training for school. I finally took the camera to Target and got the pictures developed. Looks like they had fun, but glad I didn't have to go... but would rather have been doing something fun that day!

The First Day of JK

Today was the first day of school... It started out as a rainy day, but got better as the day went on. Dana had a great day, and was excited that so many of her friends from Ms. Gail's class are with her in Ms. Linda's class.

One Last Swim... Labor Day, 2009

After getting free chicken sandwiches at Chick-Fil-A for wearing our Chargers shirts (should have taken a picture!), we went to Woodlake for one last swim. Unfortunately, mother nature decided to rain on our fun! Just before the rain started, Dana participated in a "soda dive". She is pictured with her prize, a Sierra Mist, or as she calls it "Sprout" (Sprite).

Saying goodbye to summer...

As is our tradition, we went to Bruster's for our end of the summer ice cream. Dana made a friend, whom she chased all over the field behind it. Can't believe another summer has come and gone... we start school on Tuesday... gulp!

Busch Gardens

Our self-portrait. We were waiting in a long line and I forgot to bring in my i-pod, so we started playing with the camera. Dana told me "Mommy, you're my best friend" today... does it get any better?

We loved the new Sesame Street Forest of Fun... Dana made herself comfy to watch the little "Fun in the Sun" show.

Two minutes later she was asleep...

Coloring is hard work!

The other night Dana was upstairs coloring while we were downstairs getting dinner ready. She got really quiet, and didn't come down when we called her... this is what I found when I went up.
