Dana got a hippopotamus for Christmas!

Phineas and Ferb!
Dana got TONS of Littlest Pet Shop toys, My Little Pony toys, Polly Pocket toys, Barbies, Phineas and Ferb DVDs and CD, an easel and art supplies. The Barbie townhouse hasn't even arrived yet... now where to put it all...?!?
Any trip to the movies would be incomplete without Dana dancing to the end credits!
I took Dana to see The Nutcracker at the Richmond Ballet on Tuesday. She was enthralled through most of it... tried take a picture of her watching, but she caught me! I think we've started a new Mama and Dana Christmas traditition! 
Dana and I built a snowman!
It started snowing yesterday around 5:00. By this morning we had 8 inches on our back deck. Craziness!

Chase and I took Dana to see Santa at Bass Pro Shop on Sunday. We heard that was "the place" to see him. The wait wasn't too terrible, and there were lots of cool things to look at while there-- including the 4 wheelers she posed on. Dana even found a Barbie fishing pole she now wants... :)
On Saturday Erin, Dana and I went to Lewis Ginter for the Festival of Lights. It was about 35 degrees! It was cold, but fun. These are Dana's favorite pictures.

This was "Camel Caravan" (or Cara-ban as Dana says) The dance moves were SOOOOOO stinkin' cute! One of these days I'll figure out how to upload video...
Tonight was the Christmas program at Dana's school. I am still trying to figure out my new camera-- haven't quite figured out image stabilization yet (and a group of preschoolers are too wiggly to get good "still" pictures of!). 
While Mama was stuck in boring parent-teacher conferences last Tuesday, Dana tried out her Barbie 4-Wheeler in the backyard. 
After a short rest and a wardrobe change, Dana, aka Sharpay, was ready for some Trick-or-Treating.
The moon was full... well, almost
We went Trick-or-Treating with Caleb and Camden this year... so much fun! Here is Caleb in his golfer costume.
Sharpay was so tired of walking that she got a lift home from Daddy... so sweet... 
I think it's safe to say that Dana loved all her presents, but the Barbie 4-wheeler was a HUGE hit!
