One of the cool new Littest Pet Shop playhouses Dana hinted about for the last month or so...
A birthday donut after the 5 year check up-- we got an H1N1 shot with no tears, a finger prick (she actually liked watching the tiny little tubes fill up with blood!), and had vision and hearing screenings, so we're all ready for Kindergarten next fall.

Here are the jack-o-lantern Dana designed, and the pumpkin she decorated using our cool Mr. Pumpkin Head kit. 
We went out to our friends Melissa and Jeff's house for a fun celebration of fall... we took a hayride around the property, and roasted marshmallows and made smores by the bonfire. Dana had a blast playing with Andrew (in the top picture), Alex, and Jacob, too.
Today we went to the Chesterfield Berry Farm with Grandma and Grandpa for our annual pumpkin picking. It rained on our drive there, and began to rain on our way home, but luckily stayed dry for while we were there. Dana rode a small wagon train ride (on a John Deere tractor-- Grandpa was so proud!), rode a horse like a pro, and got a cool set of balloon butterfly wings and has not wanted to take them off since.
