An Orangutan playing peek-a-boo at the National Zoo. We gave Daddy tickets to a Texas Rangers baseball game for Father's Day-- they played the Washington Nationals this weekend-- so we took a train ride up to DC, visited the National Zoo, and watched the Rangers CREAM the Nats!
Auntie and I took Dana to Williamsburg on Friday to do a little outlet shopping and visit Busch Gardens. This was Dana's second time visiting Busch Gardens, and she was able to enjoy so many more attractions-- she was so brave and excited to ride the rides.
Friday was Show Night at the Little Gym. This time we got some great pictures and video of Dana performing her "routine". She didn't quite do her forward roll-- more like a sideways "egg" roll-- but she did awesome on the balance beam and on the parallel bars!
I guess it is the teacher in me-- I was SO excited to see Dana's writing really start to resemble her name! She is growing so fast-- this is just a small example of the amazing changes I see in her.
Dana had her end of the year "concert" at school this week. They sang several songs, had a graduation for the Pre-K kids, and a picnic dinner for the families. Dana sang alongside Logan (her former love), then she and Caleb hammed it up after the show.
